With a daily row to and from school. For many years John and his wife Sheila ran a restaurant on Inniscorkish and retired last year and came to live in Lisnaskea. He has written 3 books “Reflections of an Islander”, “Hands across the sea ” and “Where’s my Begonia Rose?”. John has accummulated these stories and yarns over the years, He has great understanding of the ‘flora and fauna’ of the area which, together with the folklore, has inspired him in the writing of his books and poems.
